Introduction
The FAST feed source receiver, as a core component of the FAST feed source module of the Chinese celestial eye, plays a role in receiving electromagnetic wave signals emitted by celestial bodies and can be called the "pupil of the celestial eye". To ensure the safe and efficient operation and disassembly of the feed source receiver, a FAST Tianyan feed source receiver operation and maintenance robot has been designed to solve problems such as limited installation space, numerous disassembly and assembly bolts, low disassembly and assembly efficiency, and transportation difficulties in the feed source compartment. This robot is composed of a heavy-duty omnidirectional AGV system, a flexible docking platform, an intelligent robotic arm, etc. It integrates multiple functions such as positioning, recognition, disassembly, and transportation.The FAST Tianyan feed source receiver operation and maintenance robot applies technologies such as "laser+inertia+vision" combined navigation, vision based positioning and orientation, dual hydraulic synchronization control, real-time estimation of dynamic contact force between the end of the robotic arm and the bolt, and flexible docking control based on force feedback. With a heavy-duty omnidirectional AGV, it is equipped with a flexible docking platform and four sets of intelligent robotic arms, which can automatically transport the robot to the installation position and carry equipment weighing up to 3 tons. It automatically identifies the path on narrow, curved, and steep roads, and travels back and forth between the warehouse and the feed source compartment at a distance of 5 kilometers. The end of the robotic arm is automatically planned with image recognition based on the current posture of the bolts, as well as scheduling and management between multiple robotic arms. It can accurately identify the specifications and positions of each screw hole and guide the end torque gun to screw in or remove bolts of different specifications.In terms of formal beauty, it has a unified design language. The overall shape starts with cutting language, retaining the industrial angular language to emphasize its industrial feel as equipment. The overall shape is simple and large, and the color scheme uses overall white with blue and red embellishments, highlighting its technological beauty as a major country's heavy equipment operation and maintenance robot; Functionally, the additional distribution boxes and operating equipment of the traditional scheme are reintegrated into the heavy-duty AGV, fully retaining the feasibility of the original scheme. At the same time, the design is more intensive, the functional zoning is more reasonable, and the operation is also more convenient; In terms of materials, this design applies high-strength metal alloys, engineering plastics, and carbon fiber composite materials. The allowable load for heavy-duty AGVs is ≥ 6 tons, and the allowable load for flexible docking platforms is ≥ 3 tons, ensuring safety and durability during disassembly and assembly.The emergence and intervention of FAST Tianyan feed source receiver operation and maintenance robots have changed the history of manual disassembly in the past, and shortened the dismantling time of feed source receivers from 3 days to 10 hours.
