The FP-981C VTOL composite-wing UAV efficiently overcomes terrain constraints on traditional ground transport, ensuring reliable and punctual cargo delivery in challenging or remote areas. This aircraft seamlessly integrates VTOL agility with the long-range, high-speed capabilities of fixed wings, ideal for extended, heavy-duty delivery missions. It adapts to diverse freight scenarios, including inter-island, mountainous, urban, and complex terrains, addressing the limitations of short-range, low-payload multi-rotor drones and the stringent takeoff/landing requirements of fixed-wing drones. The FP-981C drone adopts electric vertical take-off and landing technology, does not require a runway for takeoff and landing, which makes it able to adapt to various complex terrains such as mountains, deserts, mountain ranges, and islands, providing convenient air transportation services for people in areas with inconvenient transportation. In addition, the drone is equipped with a self-developed central command and control platform, which enables us to remotely command, dispatch, and assign tasks to multiple drones within the region, thereby improving the efficiency of logistics transportation and reducing labor input.The research and development and design of the FP-981C follow the Civil Aviation Authority’s airworthiness standards, which ensures that the drone can fly safely in various environments. Currently, the type certificate application for this model has been accepted by the Civil Aviation Authority. It adopts a modular multi-compartment design, with batteries placed outside the fuselage, allowing for quick replacement within 5 minutes. Major components are also designed with quick-release structures, enabling replacement within 15 minutes, making both use and maintenance very convenient.The design of the FP-981C cleverly integrates cargo hold space and aerodynamic efficiency. Through the front tapered edge lines and streamlined head design, it effectively reduces the bulkiness of the transport aircraft and enhances the sense of speed. At the same time, the addition of anthropomorphic elements makes the overall design appear more flexible and friendly.
